Up-sell is let them upgrade to the next level of service offering. If they’re at bronze if they wanna go to silver or gold if they bought this product that’s the, I don’t know, a certain size maybe they wanna get to one that’s heavy duty, new and improved, second generation or next generation maybe now is the time to up-sell them because you’re offering some sort of discount, some sort of promotion and they can get the next level up at a very reasonable price. Third thing you can do, down-sell, for those of you who are subscription based services or memberships or there’s any continuity at all. Might be contractual or maybe you own a real estate and you have people who are renting from you. Yes they are legally bound to pay you a certain amount and let’s get real are they even able to do it. So how can you maintain continuity of that relationship? Maybe you can offer them even temporarily a smaller offering.
