Hi everybody, my name is Carl Gould here and I am your #70secondCEO, just a little bit more than a one minute investment each day for a lifetime of results. Today’s topic is – Strategic Planning.
Rank yourself on a scale of one low, 10 high, to what degree are your strategic planning documents, your mission, vision, values, purpose, your MVP planning, guiding principles, sales plan, milestones planning:
- Updated monthly?
- Inspiring and compelling?
When you show them to another person they say, “wow, this, you’re trying to build this, I want in on that,” because I’ll tell you something, yes, I said monthly, that means you have to update and monitor your goals each month the more you measure the more you can course correct. So, I want to hear about that monthly, second thing is, if you’re not compelling as a company you’re boring, guess what kind of business you have? BORING! Guess what kind of employees you have? BORING! Guess what kind of clients you have? Yes, you said it because I don’t want to call your clients…BORING! You called them BORING! But that’s what you have, a boring ass business because you don’t want to take the time to rank your business and make sure you have a compelling and inspiring strategic plan.
