Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
Imagine the world where you have to shed, you get rid of 20% of the tasks that are on your plate right now, 20% each year because as your business grows you’re likely to continue to elevate in your business, right? And you’re gonna have to get rid of the bottom 20% of the things that you’re doing, that’s gonna go to somebody else, right? So you’re gonna elevate in your management and so as the team around you gonna have to elevate in their management, okay? Not everybody but there are gonna be select people, so always be thinking on the manager side as well because especially if you’re gonna grow from within, you know somebody managing you know a company that’s you know one size is not always the manager or ready for the business at the larger size. That’s typically one of the things that trips off or slows down your growth trajectory is when the business outgrows its management team a little bit. So that’s a very common one, I’m not saying that to any one particular company but all of you should be thinking managers you know let’s make sure that leg in a fast growing business, the manager leg naturally and normally gets weaker for a period of time, okay.
