When you’re selling, when you’re first building the relationship and building rapport, if you remember from a prior training the relationship of rapport is the relationship of sameness, likeness and commonality and so to build–and rapport is more than just a relationship building technique. Rapport is a flat out, a self-defense mechanism it is an involuntary activity you have to be in rapport, you have to be in rapport with your surroundings or we don’t feel safe, right? And so each and every time we wanna make sure of that and with each person that were in relationship with we wanna make sure that were building rapport, so you were born more of the seller or more of a closer and the nice thing about this opposing skills is that they’re very trainable, it’s not like ohh I wasn’t born with that, you know that part of my DNA, I guess that’s not gonna work.
