Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
You wanna make a bold promise too, and one of the quickest way to differentiate yourself from your competitors is to leverage their complaints in the industry, not the upsides of your business, okay. I had the privilege of running what I would call a bucket list business in my past, I had a construction company. I built log homes. Okay. And I had a dealership out of Main Ward cedar log homes out of Holton Maine and if you’re so inclined for that lifestyle that’s a bucket list, a dream purchase and when I built somebody’s log home everything was so “oh it’s so nice” I would say “oh we’re running behind,” they’d say “don’t rush we’re not in a rush we just wanna get it right”. But if I built their primary residence, I was just another jerky constructor, right? But when I built, when I have a dream bucket, a bucket list item business everybody went to the positive, but I, I don’t do that anymore and I don’t think most of you do that, so our clients wish they can get through life without our business without hiring us, ideally. So that’s the case, they go to the negatives of working with you not the positive, so the best way to leverage and make a bold promise, is promise away, promise away the complaints in your industry.
