Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO just a little over one minute investment every day for a lifetime of result.
How you can sell to your customers right now? One of the ways that might be the most difficult is new services to new accounts. Right, because there’s uncertainty, they don’t know you yet. Maybe you can’t even get them because their offices aren’t open or the person you normally see, you started speaking to, isn’t back in the office. All right, so we’re going to focus today on Existing Customers. All right. So one of our down market organic growth strategies is cross-selling, up-selling and down selling to existing customers.
So a cross sell is simply if I’m already providing one service to you; are there other complementary services that I can do? So, for example, you’re an electrical contractor you come in and you have to run wire in somebody’s facility, on the way in you’re talking to them. So, when with the manager and they say, you know, it’s killing me in the back. I’d love to have you put in those lights in the back parking lot, but I can’t get an excavator out here to dig the trench. Really, well wouldn’t you know it we happen to have an extra piece of excavation equipment, we can do that also!
