Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per
day for a lifetime of results.
I started contributing to Forbes, Forbes Online blog or column or whatever you wanna call it. And they have two things, one I can write an article and the other thing they have is what’s called an expert panel, right, and so they release like I’ve-I’ve been quoted like I don’t know a half dozen times this year or something like that. But they release these ten topics “top five things entrepreneurs should know about life- work-life balance” and then they send it out to their group of experts and you can write 400 characters as to what your answer is, right? So, and then when the article comes out, you could tell the generic part was written by Forbes, “You know, 22% of all entrepreneurs say they are tired at ten o’clock in the morning” you know, and then the meat of it is all of us. So they do like the opening and the closing and they quote all the experts in the middle. And, and so every one of our clients says the same thing, “Our marketing company doesn’t know what they’re doing they write these generic bleh bleh bleh, they suck.” Right? And so, I found that Forbes if if the Forbes team wrote the whole article you would say “Oh that’s generic advice” but they ask 10 HR experts about the top ten HR tips and so it’s really strong in the middle. So what you probably could do is the reverse, meaning you have somebody start the article, write the opening and the closing, and then- and then you be like the guest expert on your own blog sort of thing.
