Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
So here’s what people do, they will discount their way to market share and then say, ok, now I’ve got a client base I’ll charge more. No you’re not! Cause you’ve just built the reputation of being a low charge guy or girl. Now you want to be the premium guy or girl. You didn’t position yourself that way. So, here’s a script for all of you listeners, here’s how you explain yourself going forward. Ok? The way you explain yourself is you are making yourself available to the market place in a way you never have before. You are not new, you are not fresh out of the box. This isn’t a launch, you’re not early stage. If Oprah Winfrey launched a mentoring program she would not say, hey guys I’m just trying to get a little bit of the market share so I’m going to discount my mentoring services so you can all accept me and don’t reject me. What would she say, she’d be like, I never made myself available this way. I’m making myself available, if you want in, here’s what I’m taking, here’s what I charge, here’s the value. That’s what she would do, right?
