Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per day for a lifetime of results.
What are some of the top achievements? Have you done something that is noteworthy in your field? Was there an article that you wrote? Was there a book that you published? Was there a problem that you solved that no one else could solve? Were you part of a particular team that went out and took action and did something that was rather special? There’s many things that you could put here. If you’re a personal trainer and you swam the English channel or climb the highest mountain, those are important things. If you haven’t done them, put them on your list. Remember in Stage 1, we wanted you to be compelling and create a strategic plan. Go back to that plan, put those on your list.
What are some of the joint ventures and strategic alliances that you should have? Who should you be partnering with? So its achievements, its associations, its experiences, and its alliances, that’s what builds your resume. That’s how you make yourself an authority. Put that on your list, start to pursue it, and go ahead and tell your boss, tell your employer, “Here’s where I’m going. Is this the kind of organization where I can get there?” You talk about a compelling and strategic plan, they’re gonna want to help guide you through that.
