What we’re talking about today is where is the hidden value and untapped potential in your leadership or management style? Remember when we talked about becoming functional in your blind spot? So if you’re a results type person, you wanna spend some time in systems and process and vice versa. If you’re a relationship builder, you wanna spend some time in the detail and vice versa. OK? So remember, that’s your challenge for the next 30 days. Pick something that you can do that gets you functional in your blind spot. Of course you always wanna build on your strengths. However, if you remain blind in your weak areas and you’re not functional, you don’t even know what good or bad looks like. As a leader, that is very dangerous. Blind spots are what gets you killed. Blind spot is what gets you hit in business. Blind spot is where an ambush happens and if you’ve got a blind spot, and you do, ok, here is where you need to cover that blind spot. So remember: find something in the next 30 days that you can do that will help you become functional in your blind spot.
