Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
Well, the first thing you have to ask yourself is, is your business compelling enough? And there’s a couple of questions you’re going to ask yourself to see if your business is compelling to your clients and compelling to your employees. And the first question is, to what degree on the scale of 1-10, one being like boring. ten being compelling. To what degree is your business so compelling that an employee of a competitor would be willing to leave them, come work for you and earn less than they earn right now? Ok? Second question, what is so compelling or to what degree is your business so compelling that your competitor’s clients would be willing to leave them, come buy from you and pay your premium? If you can give yourself a score of 8 or above and then give yourself the reasons why it’s 8 or above you likely have a compelling business. Now, that’s the foundation, so if you’ve got a compelling business guess what kind of clients you attract, compelling. Guess what kinds of employees you attract? Compelling. Because they believe in your mission.
