Number 8 is approval. Approval is there’s always a third party out there that you need to convince to get the deal across the finish line. So if you think you’re talking to all the decision makers, you rarely are, there’s always a board, a committee, mom, dad, uncle Ernie, Edna you know my husband, my wife what my committee, my partners they’re all lurking out there and so ask yourself, how good am I at coaching the person I’m in front of? To go defend me to their, and you go and tell them that Tom charges a little bit extra because he wants a friend, why does Tom charge more? Because as soon as you’re done talking to your who you think your buyer is, they’re going back to committee and that approval, that’s lost. Cause they don’t a good job, they don’t defend you and the worst place you wanna come in sales is second, guys you wanna come in first or you wanna come in last but you wanna know early, you don’t wanna go to 9 steps and get lost between the 8 and the 9 steps that’s too expensive.
