Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per day for a lifetime of results.
So selling new stuff to new customers is going to be of all the ways you can grow your business is going to be the hardest right now. We’re not suggesting you stop you keep going but just recognize it’s going to be a little harder because you know that salesperson you or that buyer used to access. Well, you know what, they’re wearing two or three hats. They’re a little busy you can’t get to him as quick or some of the buying habits are slowing down. So here’s what we want to target, new sales to existing customers. Yeah. We already know who they are. We already know who the contact is. There’s already trust built up there. There’s already a good relationship. So we go to those existing customers and we want to do what we want to do. These three things – number one is we want to look to see if we can cross sell them, right? So here’s what that means. You’re a cleaning company right you walk in and you say what else is on your to-do list that I can take off and they say well, you know what? I don’t get out very much. I don’t drive around. I haven’t taken the car to the carwash, done. I know how to clean. I’ll clean your car. I’ll power wash the sidewalk. I’ll wash the windows. I don’t normally clean the outside of houses, but I’ll do it this time. I’m going to cross sell additional services to widen the scope of the engagement or the agreement.
