Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per day for a lifetime of results.
Now, what people are after is, the only thing that they really care about is THEMSELVES, that’s the entity that is most important to them. What they care about is how you, your company or your product and service helps them be more of themselves. So understand this, we have a way that we define ourselves,I mentioned the suit guy or the casual guy or gal (listen to Part 1). We have a way that we define ourselves, that creates what we call the model of the world. From that model of the world we have a perspective as to what we see around us.
If I’m a casual guy:
- I’m going to show up in casual places
- I’m going to make casual money
- I’m going to drive a casual car
- I’m going to be casual about my decisions
- I’m going to be casual about objections
How I do anything is how I do everything as a buyer because of the way I have defined myself. It’s the most important thing my brain will do all day is to make sure I act in alignment with how I define myself.
So, once you understand them, meaning having your ideal client avatar, meaning understand what part of their life or their business cycle or career cycle they’re in, what’s most important to them right now and how can your product or service help them be more of what they want to be and or be less of what they don’t want to be. That’s how you’re going to sell more that’s how you’re going to break through their barriers to buying.
