When you are meeting with your prospect, when you are finding out what their needs are, how you can position position your products and services, how you can qualify them and then you know, craft the transaction that they will engage with you and purchase from you. Remember that there are 2 questions that haunt your ideal client, #1 is:
What is it that keeps them up at night worrying? It keeps them up at night worrying because they think about it all day long and they haven’t solved it. Every night they go to bed and they are worrying about that thing. For your ideal client what is it? Well if your ideal client is 16 about to turn 17 in the state of New Jersey, I can tell you what is #1 on their mind-passing their driver’s test! So they can drive, my son just got his driver’s test. He couldn’t care about anything else but he’s like Dad, “I’m reading the book and I’m taking the lessons and he was all over it. It was top of mind, and to help him solve that was huge for him, ok. My daughter is 10, my other daughter is 20, what’s top of mind for them is totally different. Know what your ideal client is top of mind. What’s the first question that haunts them? Which is what keeps them up at night?
